As opposed to Sync.com we cannot search for deleted files directly in the original folder.

We must to the trash.

Local Computer C Drive is Full

Dropbox Cache Taking too Space

Not enough space for the all the portable SW on Dropbox

Dropbox cache taking 30 GB of space.

Delete the whole Dropbox cache.
The computer does not have important changes of Dropbox, that is contained in the cache.

Selective Sync

Remove some software from local computer using selective sync.

Virtual Memory sizes are too big, Initial size and maximum size should be lower. On screen at right is shown how to navigate to Virtual Memory from System Properties.

Change Initial and Maximum Size

Change virtual memory initial size and maximum size to 1024mb, so the Pagefile get lower as size.

Remove files temporary

• When a new computer syncs, Dropbox might get full
• Find biggest folders with WinDirStat and Remove them
• Let new computer sync
• wait that sync is mostly finished
• Check the space on Dropbox
• Move the files back

Search Cache

• Go to our master profile for Thunderbird –> E:\!!Thunderbird\MainProfile
• search for file –> “global-messages-db.sqlite”
• Delete this file
• Start Thunderbird again

CCleaner Solution for Cache and Conflicted Files

• Open CCleaner in our Dropbox –> C:\Dropbox\portableApps\CCleaner
• Go to Options –> Include
• Click on Add button
• and add “conflicted” files to search for them
• “cache” files to search also for them
• and add everything which George wants to be cleaned up
• Start Searching for cleanup files
• Cleanup PortableApps software caches
• Some Browsers have some not necessary files, which we can delete with CCleaner

• this is the easiest way to delete caches from browsers
• Browser Caches are taking a lot of space
• Via WinDirStat
• navigate to every browser in C:\Dropbox\portableApps
• and delete their caches
• This is the manual way to make some space in Dropbox
