How-to:

Go to WP Security –> Brute Force

Whitelist Standard Status

  • Enabled on Blogs
  • Enabled on SNBCHF
  • Disabled on Doc Site (we have a front-end password)

Whitelist Task List

Trello Regular Task Update Whitelists

  • ASK George if there were new IPs
  • If not skip the task!!
  • D48 is our Master Page for IP’s used in for our sites
  • Every new IP is added firstly on this Page
  • Then All IPs are copying together to all Sites:
  • How to copy IPs:
  • Mark all IPs in to table –> row “Master Whitelist for all Blogs.” and simply copy/paste into our plugin (OUR PLUGIN????)
  • Go into Settings -> … (example link: https://european.economicblogs.org/niko/admin.php?page=aiowpsec_brute_force&tab=tab4)
  • Go into tab Login Whitelist
  • Scroll a bit down to see “Enter Whitelisted IP Addresses:”
  • Mark everything in the window and paste copied IPs
  • Click “Save Settings”
  • These steps must be done for all sites

Why is it important?
