Netgear GS724Tv4 missing in Fritz Box

• Cannot access admin area of Netgear switch GS724T (v4)
• A different subnet is used
• Reason: DHCP Disabled

Reboot and get new IP Address

• Install Switch Discovery Tool from Netgear https://www.netgear.com/support/product/netgear-switch-discovery-tool.aspx
• Outcome: –> Reason DHCP Disabled
• Use Factory Default Button on the device https://kb.netgear.com/24679/How-do-I-reset-a-smart-switch-to-factory-default-settings
• Important Outcome: DHCP enabled (after factory reset)
• Find in Fritz Box:
• Outcome: Found in Fritz box with 192-168-178-50 IP Address assigned (screen)
• Start admin tool, may click on Fritz box on the device or type ID address
• Enter default Password: “password”
• Change your password, and store it safely highly recommende
