• That Thunderbird saves for us. –> Collected Addresses.

Hide Email Addresses

This video summarizes the last how we hide our email address.

• In the Account Settings –> Modify Account settings
• in the emails –> Solution: Use the address Book

Rename so that the email address is not visible any more for people that send or receive many emails.

Too many email addresses are in the collected email address book. We need to clean it up.

Select Address Book Text

• 1) Go to Tools –> Address Book
• 2) Open some of saved Addresses
• 3) Copy the name with right mouse click –> Copy Name
• 4) Copy the email with right mouse click –> Copy Email
• The idea of add-on is easily to copy whatever you need from Address Book

Base Functionality / Smoke Test

• Write a mail and press send
• new box pops up to confirm the recipient address
• Check the box to confirm the mail sending and click OK
• Mail is sent to the recipient
• Mail is in the SENT Folder

Confirm Address Options

Add-on works perfectly, all options are working, when sending mail, new box popups for confirmation of email address. You must click on confirmation button for email addresses and then the email is send.

This plugin allows to look at the address before I send a mail.

Please find an update or make it run or find a similar plugin.

Add-on is into pcloud folder.

Video: Cannot Send Mail

The video explains problem with sending emails, we cant send mail.  The problem was the old version of the confirm address add-on.
