New Folder Structure

Year Based

Move mails manually:

• 1) year folder same as George-Ellusion, just more detailed for old mail –> See number of mails
• 2) Move all mails into inbox
• 3) Select all mails of one year
• 4) move into the year folder

There are a lot of emails each year. When we start moving them to the right year based folder this message occurs.

Message Filters for Year Based Folders

New filter that moves mail into the folder:

• Start with Empty
• Create message filter for each year
• Run the message filters on all folders

Move Mails with Tag X into Folder X:

Search Folder New Way

Continue Doing:

• Search Folder: Have many mails, more than 100, otherwise there is a problem —-> Must have mails of all years! All years are checked.
• Search and physical folder: no emails with 2 differents–> Solution: Untag message, run message filters on the folder (location = year)

• Do not Sync Tag and Location ! Search Folder TAG = LOCATION Tag Harry Google –> Location Harry Google –> no !!!! Av2013
• Do not sync Search Folder: with Location All emails have same location / folder

1. Look on Location inside Search Folders
2. Look in the inbox
3. Check if there are important mails like “complains” in dorgan and e-llusion.

Remarks:
Message Filters do not work for ekasolo but you can still move the mails into the Ekasolo folders.

Question: Why do not do move the mails using message filters?

Answer:
1) We need a manual control of important mails.

2) The message filters do not work well for “move into folders”. Often mails got duplicated.

Move Mail with Tag "Eka Bank" into Folder "Eka Bank"

• Move all with Tag X into folder X
• In rare cases two tags on one mail –> Ask Niki
• Order by location (folder) –> So you see the mails that in wrong folder
• Location: Empty –> This means the current folder
• Difference: Amazon and Amazon partner net folder.
• 7:00 – 08:15 Delete Duplicate Mail

Sent Folders

Different Sent Folders Thunderbird

Sometimes the sent folders can be different.

• One for webmail
• One for Thunderbird (however you can change sent folder  in Thunderbird)

Too many sent messages from Backup buddy error in snbchf.com

An Old backupbuddy setup was still working. Backupbuddy try every single day to make an automatic backup, which was unsuccessful. Due to the error, backup buddy sends email every day.

We stop old backupbuddy backups from snbchf and the mails stoped

The All Mail Folder comes from the Gmail label “All Mail“.

We do not want to use it.

• Do not show in Saved Search Folders: Already Done
• Do not show in Thunderbird at all: Not done yet.
