Move to Thunderbird Portable

From local installation to portable installation

We want to move from a local installation to a portable installation on Dropbox.

Data remains on local SSD

Parallel Thunderbird Installation

We are now using a parallel installation.

  1. Old Windows system with an installed Thunderbird version
  2. New Windows system with a forced portable installation

Thunderbird is creating duplicated folders again.

Profile Cleanup

  • Copy Profile to other computer and make it run
  • Delete not used Imap Folders Example “ozi….” folder
  • Delete not used inboxes: example inbox^3
  • Delete Filterlogs files – into imap folder
  • Thunderbird on Windows Index Location
  • disable filterlogs in GUI
  • Pop3 folders still used?
