Portable Software Issues

The following explains some issues with portable software. Very often it is related to remainders of the standard (not-portable) software.

Boxcryptor

Does not create a drive, but only allows access.

Do not install portable version, but normal one.

Warning: if you can’t access the GUI anymore, open a command-line window, go to
the directory where you installed VLC and run “vlc – I qt”

The rar file does not open with WinRAR Unplugged.

WinRAR Unplugged is not able to read .rar formats or just the archived file is damaged.
