Headsets / Audio Devices Approved for Skype for Business use

Use of an Approved Audio Device for Skype
For your audio device (either a desktop or an UBS IT Anywhere (A3) terminal), use only an approved headset or speakerphone. These products have been tested/verified by Microsoft and Citrix for compatibility, and have subsequently been “certified” inside UBS. There are a wide variety of headset options that can be ordered for your workstation, refer to the below descriptions for the model that best fits your work style and comfort level:
Wired (USB) Headsets
Wired headsets will connect directly either to your A3 terminal’s USB port or desktop (DTP) USB port. Certain wired headsets will also have a plug in option for mobile phones that have an audio jack, while others will have Bluetooth connectivity for your mobile phone (Bluetooth is NOT supported on UBS A3 or DTP). Wireless Headsets
Wireless headsets connect to your PC/MAC workstation through a technology known as DECT (Digital Enhanced Cordless Telecommunication). They are advantageous due to their ability to operate in “dual mode” where you can easily take calls from Skype, Mobile, and Desktop Phone only using one headset. Most Wireless headsets will require a USB connection to your PC/MAC (A3 or DTR) via a “base station” while the headset itself will be cordless.
