Dummy Checklists

Dummy Tasks: Are tasks that must be done during each sprint. Their color is black.

Dummy Checklists: Contain the detailed tasks that must be done during each sprint.

Now we put detailed checklist on left side
or sometimes the one that I write

Trello Summary is old
this was the old checklist that I wrote when making the video
so do not write Trello Summary any more
would say (doc) Def of Done
then copy it to video

Trello Summary is the checklist that George writes, for example during a video.

It is rather high-level. Often this Trello Summary is inside a checklist called “Def of Done”

Detailed Checklists: The team details the Def of Done into smaller chunks that explain in detail what to do.

Trello Summary and Def of Done Checklist

Trello Summary

The Trello Summary is the checklist that George writes, for example during a video.

It is rather high-level.

 

Task: Copy the checklists with (doc) for Documentation into the blog.

Trello Summary: Empty

Always keep the skeleton of the Trello checklist while transferring it to the doc page.

  • George Writes “Doc” in the Trello checklists –> It is to be documented.
  • If there is no “Doc” in Trello Checklist –> Document everything except administration checklist.
  • Avoid documenting administration checklist. (They are copied from dummy checklist and start with text like “VVV” , “YYY” and so on).
  • Avoid copying Trello checklists that is rather “administration” like who watches video or on which items or blogs to do a task.
  • The Trello items are important, because they contain the major part of the summary.
  • When video talks about Trello checklist that is on other Trello card, try to find it as in Example O45.

Videos and Screens should be uploaded to the right chapter and should contain:

  • Video Summary for every video

  • And for videos they should contain same page number as page

Def of Done Dummy Checklist

Latest Checklist:

  1. CARD: page Link and Doc Page Number correct and no Y in checklist name
  2. DOC: Page is reviewed, ordered: no duplication, no red text, all in right chapter
  3. MEDIA: Videos, Screens are uploaded to right Chapter, Video Summaries, Trello card and page have same number (also older videos)
  4. TRELLO: Other cards with this number have corrected page number

Overview

  • Step3: do this

Team creates his own checklist and types the steps how to work, what should be done first, second based on video or George Skype call explanation.

It appears that you are doing things without asking the right questions.

How to Write

  • Understand video, what the task is
  • Write checklist of what you have understood
  • Doc Checklist – what to do on Doc page
  • Task Checklist – what the team should do
  • Do the task

How to detail tasks?

From now the Project Manager must write down all the steps of the task, so the Product Owner can control and see progress.

The Project Manager must create a checklist named “AAA Detail the task” in the beginning of every new sprint.  NO! he must copy it.

The project manager follows the tasks of the AAA list.

Form in Trello: Checklists

DO NOT CREATE NEW AAA Lists

but he creates checklists in Trello that stand for chapters and sections.

Project manager decides if it is Chapter or Section.

Team copies the screenshots into the relevant section/chapter.

Task Name =Checklist Name

The task name is the checklist name.

Detailed Checklists How to detail “AAA Checklist” in Trello ?

1) Propose a page number which can be existing page or a new one.

2) Create a checklist name which will be the one for each chapter

3) George will review the name of the checklist.

4) Detail the checklist by adding various items to it.

5) George will review individual items of the checklist

6) Add each checklist as a chapter in the doc.

  1. Propose Page Number –>  Existing page or New page)
  2. Rename Trello card if necessary with appropriate reason.
  3. Create Checklist Names –> One for each Chapter in H2 or maybe section in H4.(Use clear keywords) For example: Hetzer Internet, Bad Bots as in D08.
  4. For Existing Page –> Copy existing Chapter names as checklist in Trello.
  5. If existing chapters, section are not named properly, improve them. (Order the checklist based on the keywords).
  6. George reviews Checklist name for chapters and sections.
  7. Project Manager Details the checklists and add checklist items in Trello.
  8. Name of Checklist is keywords and not “Detail the Task”.
  9.  George Review Checklist Items.
  10.  Add chapters to doc page –> Do not do 8 before 3 and 6. (Go in ascending order one after another).
