problem Description

The actual URL is Austrian.economicblogs.org/Long_Title

But it should be Austrian.economicblogs.org/%category%/%year%/!Post_Title_Without_Stop_Words!

Stop Words:

Basic stop words (articles, prepositions): of, the, more, you, is, a, for, by, of, to, than,

Simple Verbs are stop words: lost,

Adjectives are stop words: big, low, high, best, better,  bigger, higher

problem1:

The URL is formed out of the title and does not remove stop words, even if the original URL does not contain stop words.

problem2:

The blog/category is missing in the URL.

problem3:

The year is missing in the URL.

The urls into the RSS comes with different urls than the real one. The post name is formed based on the title.

We can’t parse the real url and add it. We also can’t change the url of all of the blogs, because some of time doesn’t have friendly urls.

But there is a problem.

Remove Stop Words:

We can add new filter when we add the post. In that filter we will remove from permalinks – all the stop words. It will be a little bit better than now.

Correction old wrong Permalinks

We need a procedure to update the old wrong permalinks, to work on the backlog. The following plugin is useful here.
