Iphone cannot be updated to 12.4.2, even on Wifi

• [ ] H5x Iphone cannot be updated, even on Wifi
• [ ] Option1: Reset Iphone (5s)
• [ ] Option2: Buy new Iphone (5s or 6) or better phone — Android
• [ ] Option3: Upgrade Itunes to latest version, (but cannot use Apps inside Itunes anymore)
• [ ] Option 4: restore Iphone Backup
• [ ] Option 5: Throw it away: both the phone (use it only on Wifi) and ITunes
• [ ] Remain on OS 12.4.1. use only at home with Wifi
• [ ] Option6: Upgrade to Itunes 12.8. for installation of IOS 12.4.2. –> Second Elite i5
• [ ] (however keeping one computer on Itunes 12.6 for managing apps)
• [ ] -> Solutions Option6: and Option2

Restore IPhone

• [ ] Switch off Find my Iphone

Itunes

• [ ] Restore old Itunes running on D:itunes
• [ ] D was old local disk, I moved it to the NAS
• [ ] Start itunes with pressing Shift —> Cannot Find Library –> Create new library
• [ ] Needs the Itunes 12.8 version to install 12.4.2 IOS, however cannot modify apps again

Switch off Find my Iphone

• [ ] Open Settings.
• [ ] Tap iCloud.
• [ ] Choose Find My iPhone.
• [ ] Set Find My iPhone to Off.
• [ ] Enter the Apple ID password for the account listed and tap Turn Off.

Cannot Find Library

• [ ] Problem: The folder “iTunes” is on a locked disk or you do not have write permission for this folder
• [ ] — solution
• [ ] Try holding down shift as you launch iTunes. Keep holding until asked to choose or create a library. Click Choose.
• [ ] Browse to your library file which will normally be at C:\Users\<User>\Music\iTunes\iTunes Library.itl
• [ ] or create new one

Iphone Authorization Missing

• [ ] Log in with right account into ITunes
• [ ] – problem: Temporary Error (-1)

Apps modify on Computer or on Iphone?

• [ ] Moving apps nearly better on Phone than on iTunes
• [ ] Extracting files from Apps better on Computer
• [ ] Icould always required
